NEXO’s Russian Distributor, Sim-Imlight, have announced, following an agreement signed on 25th December, the supply of a PS15 system to the most famous theatre in Russia, The Bolshoi. The system comprises of 4x PS15s, 4x PS15 Bass, 2x LS1200s and obligatory PS15 TD Controllers.
UK Leading London club The Ministry of Sound recently played host to the invitation only launch party of the National Children’s Home (NCH) Action for Children venture, a compilation album, which will be sold to raise money for the charity. To celebrate the launch, three bands played live on stage: Monaco, Koala and The Beautiful People.
UK Reading-based Sabre International Ltd has become the first UK hire company to purchase NEXO’s new AlphaE system. It is currently being used on a semi-permanent basis at Reading University which is running three rock and pop gigs per week, plus DJ parties, in their 1,200-capacity main student hall.
To the French it rivals the Eiffel Tower as a symbol of Gallic excellence and pride but it has not been without its difficulties and controversies. It is the Stade de France and will feature heavily during this summer’s World Cup tournament. Like all modern stadia, the sound system was a priority. Terry Nelson looks at the installation in this venue for the millennium.
Artecom Berlin TL have supplied full PA services to the new "Top of the Pops" TV show, which is produced by RTL TV. The show, with a confirmed 26 week run, has been supplied with the new NEXO AlphaE Series and NEXO PS15’s. All systems are powered by Camco DX24 & DL3000P amplifiers. Artecom’s Axel Falk commented "we have received nothing but great compliments from all concerned. The program makers are euphoric about the NEXO systems".
Following the success of the universally acclaimed ALPHA System, NEXO have launched an addition to the ALPHA range, the AlphaE Series. The concept behind the design was to create a system that integrated totally with the existing Alpha format while at the same time offering a more compact, economic and lightweight solution. The result is the AlphaE Series.
