INDIA’S KAZMI SOUND SIGNS UP TO NEXO GEO LINE ARRAY
In Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state of India, the well-known sound and lighting rental company KAZMI SOUND has joined the growing family of NEXO users. One of the first event to feature their new GEO D cabinets was a religious gathering for 10,000 in Lucknow.
Kazmi Sound has built quite a reputation for supplying intelligent lighting and sound system to the Uttar Pradesh market, catering for concerts, conferences, product launches and all sorts of rallies. Based in Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, Kazmi Sound has a distribution network covering the entire state, enabling them to supply events over a very wide geographical area. Along with other prestige marques like Allen & Heath and SGM Lighting, the company can service the needs of large venues including stadiums.
Kazmi’s order for GEO D10 line array modules, with the rigging systems necessary for flying and groundstacking, as well as NXAMP4x4 powered controllers to drive them, was fulfilled by specialist dealer Ravi Electronics of Lucknow. One of the oldest and most respected names in sound equipment sales in all of North India, Ravi Electronics has been appointed to handle all sales and support for NEXO across Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand.
Ravi Electronics, together with Vijay from the SunInfonet team (NEXO’s distributor in India), were on hand to support the debut of the GEO D system. They were augmented by Scott Mason from the NEXO Concert Sound team, who arrived in Lucknow to deliver a complete training course for the Kazmi Sound engineers, and help them with adjustments and tuning for the religious festival.
