Promoter Big Night Chicago used top production values to create themed party areas, with 10 bands and DJs for its New Year’s Eve party. The event took place at one of the nation’s most historic venues, The Palmer House© Hilton.
Sound Works Productions, Inc. (Mokena, IL) was tapped to provide audio production, lighting, and video for five event rooms, the largest of which consisted of 14x NEXO GEO S1210 line array boxes, 8x RS18 Ray Subs, and 14x PS10 speakers, powered by 6x NX4x4 amplifiers. 6 of the PS10s were used for delays and fills in the main room, with 8x PS10 speakers used in the breakout rooms.
“We decided to use NEXO because of its plug and play capability,” says Matt Wilson. “You can simply plug it in and it sounds great!”
