Installation company Codiscos SA specified the PS/RS combination for the new club, the architecture of which includes many large windows. Situated in a controlled zone in the city of Medellin, Aqua had to ensure that there was no bass leakage from its main system.
Sebastian Ochoa of Codiscos took advantage of NEXO’s RS18 sub-bass design, which allows operation in a cardioid mode, to achieve and maintain constant directional control. Teamed with 15x NEXO’s compact PS10-R2 cabinets, which are hidden in the club’s ceiling, the system is powered by NXAMP4x4s. Only two of these powerful TD Controllers are required, and their specification has saved Aqua the additional expense of buying processors as the units integrate amplification and processing in a single device.
