NEXO’s home market of France has been quick to sign up for the new mid-size line array launched by the company at the ISE and PLS tradeshows earlier this year. GEO M10 inventory has been ordered by several leading French rental companies, and is already earmarked for an important installation project.

Créative Studio in Guadeloupe is the company that has taken delivery of the first 000001-registered module. Well-known pro-audio figure Franck Bessol runs this rental company, which has ordered M10 line array modules and MSubs.

Frederic Guinand’s company MK Plus from Lyon has placed its order for GEO M10 and MSubs inventory. In Besançon, Espace Concept has augmented its own purchase order for GEO M10 modules, adding a number of 45°N-12 line monitors. Blackline in Angoulême has recently taken delivery of NEXO’s STM Series modular line array and now adds GEO M10 to its rental stock.   And in Rennes, the long-time NEXO user West Evenements has done the same.

“My customers are very appreciative of this new technology, its new patents and appealing ergonomic rigging,” explains Jean Jacques Vias, NEXO’s sales manager for France. “This is a sound reinforcement solution for mid-sized gigs and a broad range of venues that are looking for permanent installations.”

One such installation is the Salle St Martin de Crau, a municipal arts and community centre in Provence, which is being designed and equipped by TEXEN. Here GEO M10 arrays will be teamed with NEXO LS18 subs.

The M10 takes its name from the single 10” neodymium LF driver, paired with a 1.4” HF titanium diaphragm HF driver. With a footprint of 531(W) x 288(H) x 355(D) mm, this 2-way passive module delivers a frequency response of 59Hz-20kHz with nominal peak SPL of 131dB.

Vias anticipates the GEO M10 line array will become another classic NEXO product, like Alpha and PS Series. “GEO M10 is new-generation technology, with several advantages from the use of a single 10” driver,” says Vias. “With audio quality and sonic performance that is impressive in a small footprint, this is the perfect fit for the inventory of most rental companies, both in terms of its cost, and its earning potential.”
